Wood Ceiling in Great Room

Joe was up until 3am getting in the flow doing some wood work.  This is the tray ceiling in the great room in front of the fireplace.  The ponderosa pine has a lot of nice color.

Brick

Finally a sunny day to get the guys out laying bricks.

Painting

All the rain kept us indoors painting all weekend.

Baby Animal Days

The baby pigs were my favorite.


Jimmy really wanted to climb into the pens with the baby pigs and lambs.  He did  get to hang with the cowboys instead.

Kitchen Counter Top

We are getting close to the end and now it is time to put all the details together.  Here are a few photos of the granite slab for the main part of the kitchen counter.

The north side of the kitchen island will be raised and will have a different counter top material.  I like this grey engineered stone.

Drywall

The drywall is underway.  It is all hung and almost all taped.  It's really starting to look like a house.  The fireplace mantel is also set in place and ready for the rock.
