Winter Break

The winters get really long here in Logan.  This year we decided to head south in search of sun over the holiday break.  We originally were only planning to go to the desert outside of Vegas.  We had a nice block of time off and decided to head to Joshua Tree.  It was so worth the extra miles.

Fun in the Snow

We had a big storm come in on Sunday January 27.  I think we had well over 7 inches of snow at our house.  Jimmy and Joe spent some time shoveling the driveway and building a snow cave.  

Annie had to take her turn checking out the snow cave.  

2013 Ski Season Begins!

We came back after traveling over the holidays to spectacular snow.  We have spent the last four days taking turns getting out into the back country.  Chris is a total animal.  He skied four days in a row swapping between Joe and I as partner.  He probably climbed over 10,000 feet in the four days.

Stanley Lake Idaho

We spent a few does camping, biking and fishing up in Stanley Idaho.  It is such a great spot.  We are already planning our trip back next year. 

MTB family adventure
